adesso’s office in the capital of Germany’s northernmost state, Schleswig-Holstein, is located in the Kiel Science Park, directly on the Kiel Fjord and the university campus.
Its proximity to major motorway junctions and nearby public transport options offer our adessi and customers excellent transportation connections. Guests and employees who prefer to travel by bike can reach us safely, quickly and without generating emissions by making use of the ‘VeloRoute 10’ cycle path.

Whether you are looking for something for lunch or just need a snack, the Kiel Science Park has plenty of options. Not only is there a food truck onsite, but the local bakery and ‘Café Kooperativa’ are both also inviting places to relax in. If you are in the mood for Asian food, then nearby restaurant ‘Yummi’ is the place to go. For those only looking for something small, the supermarket next door has everything you could want.
Our office has a small marketplace where you will find the monthly campus breakfast, adessi exchange and after-work events.
A walk in the neighbouring botanical garden is a relaxing way to start the evening. Entry to the garden is free, which also doubles up as a scientific facility for Kiel University.
Sports-loving adessi do not miss out either. The stadium of second-division football team Holstein Kiel is within walking distance. You can put the working day behind you by enjoying the beautiful game with a cold drink and a hotdog. The home arena of record-breaking handball champions THW Kiel is also not far away.
Arrival by car
From the A215/A210, take the exit towards Eckernförde and follow the B76 to Holsteinstadion/Universität. Follow the Westring and turn right into Fraunhoferstrasse. The office is on the left on the third floor of the Hermann-Kobold-Haus building. There are parking spaces in the adjacent multi-storey car park.
Arrival by public transport
From the main train station (Kiel Hauptbahnhof), take the 11, 50, 62 or 82 bus heading towards the university/botanical garden (Universität/Botanischer Garten). Get off at the Kiel Universität, Fraunhoferstrasse/Koboldstrasse or Hardenbergstrasse stops, depending on which bus you take. The office is only a few minutes’ walk away.
