In Leipzig's Neuseenland region, numerous lakes can be discovered and circumnavigated. You can even take a gondola ride through the hip Leipzig district of Plagwitz, also known as "Little Venice". A city tour is the most convenient way to explore Leipzig's sights, such as the Leipzig Opera House, the Gewandhaus on Augustusplatz or the Leipzig Monument to the Battle of the Nations.
