If you are looking to find the Neumünster site, you will have to slide your finger way up the map of Germany: our offices are located right in the middle of Schleswig-Holstein. Neumünster is a former industrial town once known for the production of leather goods and textiles. Even though the city has now gone on to become a centre of the service industry, there are still reminders of its past around to this day.
Take, for instance, our offices, which are housed in the former administration building of a synthetic fibre factory. Or the handles on the doors at the entrance to the building that feature the logo of the company that once occupied it.
Office Manager: Dr. Jens Finnern
Our office is located in an industrial estate, which is primarily home to logistics and engineering companies.
The best place to eat would be ‘Gute Küche’, where, in addition to a hearty breakfast, you can find rotating lunch specials and other light fare from the main menu. If you are more in the mood for Asian food or perhaps a burger, steak, kebab or salad, you will find just what you are looking for in downtown Neumünster, which is only a short distance away.
It’s important to stay hydrated. We therefore make sure there are plenty of options to choose from, included coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, water and much more, which are available for free for all adessi.
The spacious lounge is a fantastic place to take a break and get your mind off of work.
If you’re looking for something fun to do during your lunch break, you can play table football in the foyer, where staff regularly face off against each other.
There are countless options available to you in Neumünster if you’re big into sports, including a number of clubs for people wishing to play their favourite team or individual sport. Schleswig-Holstein is the perfect place for a bike ride. And if you like water sports, there are plenty of options for you in Neumünster. Although the city is not on the coast, the North and Baltic Seas are close by thanks to its central location in Schleswig-Holstein. In addition, Lake Einfeld, located to the north of the city, is great for a short trip out on a canoe, SUP board or sailboat.
In summer, Neumünster puts on a number of events that draw many visitors to the city. The most popular one is Holstenköste, a multi-day festival with numerous live music events. The Waldbühne, an open-air venue that offers everything from music to poetry slams, is also worth a visit. And if you are a hobby craftsperson, we cannot recommend Nordbau, Germany’s second-largest building fair held every year at the Holstenhalle exhibition centre, enough.
Arrival by car
Exit the A7 heading towards Neumünster Mitte and take the A430. Turn left onto Tungendorfer Strasse, then take the second entrance on the right to get to the office car park.
Arrival by public transport
The central bus station (ZOB) is located in front of the main train station. Take the 2 or 22 bus heading towards Tungendorf and get off at the Ilsahl stop. The office is within walking distance of the bus stop.
We wish a pleasant journey!
